     Henry Davis was born on 12 July 1825.² He was the son of Francis Davis and Rebecca Goff.^3,4 He married Lucy Ussher Greer, daughter of William Jackson Greer and Margaret Ussher, on 7 April 1857.⁴ He died on 18 April 1863 at age 37, without issue.²

James Lowry Cole Acton and Matilda Julia Milman.¹ He married Arabella Agnes Butler, daughter of James Edward Butler and Mary Goyne Stevens, on 17 March 1927.¹ He and Arabella Agnes Butler were divorced in 1938.¹ He died on 19 February 1967 at age 76, dsp.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He lived at East London, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Arabella Agnes Butler was the daughter of James Edward Butler and Mary Goyne Stevens.¹ She married Owen Henry Acton, son of Lt.-Col. James Lowry Cole Acton and Matilda Julia Milman, on 17 March 1927.¹ She and Owen Henry Acton were divorced in 1938.¹ She died on 3 September 1969.¹
     From 17 March 1927, her married name became Acton.¹
