     Major-Gen. Thomas Heward Acton was born on 12 June 1917.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Maxwell Acton and Elsie Lorna Heward Bell.1 He died on 22 January 1977 at age 59 at Torbay, Devon, England.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1937, in the service of the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Military Assistant to the Governor of Cyprus between 1955 and 1957.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1957.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1963.1 He was the Deputy Director of Army Staff Duties, Ministry of Defence between 1966 and 1967.1 He was the General Officer Commanding in 1967.1 He was General Officer Commanding of the Southwest District between 1969 and 1970.1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1 He was the Deputy Commander in Northern Ireland in 1970.1 He was the Chief of Staff to the General Officer Commanding, and Director of Operations, in Northern Ireland between 1970 and 1971.1 He retired from the military in 1971.1 As of 1976, Major-Gen. Thomas Heward Acton lived at The Old Rectory, Thurlbear, Taunton, Somerset, EnglandG.1

     From 27 July 1940, her married name became Holdsworth.

     Lt.-Cdr. Arthur John Arundell Holdsworth is the son of Captain Frederick John Cropper Holdsworth.1 He married Barbara Lucy Ussher Acton, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Maxwell Acton and Elsie Lorna Heward Bell, on 27 July 1940.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 Lt.-Cdr. Arthur John Arundell Holdsworth usually went by his middle name of John.1 As of 1976, Lt.-Cdr. Arthur John Arundell Holdsworth lived at Holbeam Mill, Cherkombe Bridge, Devon, EnglandG, near Newton Abbot.1

     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Leitrim in 1875, an unknown place.1 He lived at Brookville, Raheny, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     James Lowry was born in 1787.2 He was the son of James Lowry and Martha Leslie.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Pepper, daughter of Thomas Pepper, on 6 August 1801.2 He married, secondly, Emily Greer, daughter of Joseph Greer and Mary Harpur, on 15 June 1835.2 He died on 14 June 1847.2

George Augustus Chichester May and Olivia Barrington, on 18 January 1882.1 He married, secondly, Eva Osborne, daughter of Charles William Osborne, in 1922 at Naples, ItalyG.2 He died on 6 October 1934 at age 79.2
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He served in First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

     From 18 January 1882, her married name became Acton.
