     Sir Frederick Lucas Cook, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 November 1844.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Cook, 1st Bt. and Emily Martha Lucas.2 He married Mary Anne Elizabeth Cotton, daughter of Richard Payne Cotton, on 7 January 1868.1 He died on 21 May 1920 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kennington between 1895 and 1906.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.1 He was Head of Cook, Son and Company, warehousemen.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Cook, of Doughty House, Richmond, Surrey [U.K., 1886] on 17 February 1901.1 He succeeded as the 2° Visconde de Monserrate, Cintra [Portugal] on 17 February 1901.1

     Mary Anne Elizabeth Cotton was the daughter of Richard Payne Cotton.2 She married Sir Frederick Lucas Cook, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Francis Cook, 1st Bt. and Emily Martha Lucas, on 7 January 1868.1 She died on 9 August 1913.1
     From 7 January 1868, her married name became Cook.

     Edith Emily McCorquodale was born on 15 November 1872.1 She was the daughter of George McCorquodale and Emily Sanderson.1 She married Thomas Donnelly on 4 November 1896 at Gadlys, Anglesey, WalesG.1
     From 4 November 1896, her married name became Donnelly.1

     From 1893, her married name became Pott.

     He lived at Frognal Priory, Hampstead, London, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.)1
