Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt. was born circa 1550.2 He was the son of Sir Colin Campbell of Glenorchy and Catherine Ruthven.2 He married by contract, firstly, Lady Jean Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 4th Earl of Atholl and Margaret Fleming, on 18 November 1573.2 He married by contract, secondly, Elizabeth Sinclair, daughter of Henry Sinclair, 5th Lord Sinclair and Elizabeth Forbes, on 20 October 1597.1,3 He died on 23 June 1631.4 He was buried at Finlarig, ScotlandG.4
Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt. also went by the nick-name of 'Black Duncan'.2 He was appointed Knight on 18 May 1590.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire [Scotland] in 1593.2 He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Perthshire, for life.2 He was created 1st Baronet Campbell, of Glenorchy, co. Perth [Nova Scotia] on 29 May 1625.2 He lived at Glenorchy, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.1

Andrew Stewart, Master of Ochiltree was the son of Andrew Stewart, 2nd Lord Stewart of Ochiltree and Agnes Cuninghame.2 He married Margaret Stewart, daughter of Henry Stewart, 2nd Lord Methven and Jean Ruthven, before 9 March 1566/67.1 He died before 10 September 1578.

James Stewart, 1st of Traquair was born illegitimately before 1489.2 He was the son of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Buchan and Margaret Murray.1,2 He married Catherine Rutherfoord, daughter of Philip Rutherfoord of that Ilk, younger and Elizabeth Kerr, on 9 November 1505, by Papal dispensation. He died on 9 February 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.3
On 20 February 1488/89 he was legitimated.3 In 1491 he received Traquair from his father.3 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.3 He also had two daughters.3
