Reverend Thomas Parnell was born in 1679 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was the son of Thomas Parnell and Anna Grice.3,2 He was baptised on 16 September 1679 at St. Catherine, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He married Anne Minchin, daughter of Thomas Minchin and Elizabeth Butler.1 He died in July 1717 at Chester, Cheshire, England.1
He held the office of Archdeacon of Clogher in 1705.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Prebendary of Dublin in 1713.1 He was the Vicar in 1716 at Finglas, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 In 1721 Pope published a posthumous collection of his verse.1

Thomas Minchin was born in 1658.2 He was the son of Colonel Charles Minchin and Elizabeth Paulet.2 He married Elizabeth Butler, daughter of Hon. Richard Butler and Anne Wolley, in 1680.2 He died in 1686.2
