Mary Lewis was born circa 1885.1 She was the daughter of William Lewis.2 She married Gordon Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Gwaenysor, son of Thomas Macdonald, in 1913.1 She died in June 1967.1

Hon. Kenneth Lewis Macdonald was born on 3 February 1921.1 He was the son of Gordon Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Gwaenysor and Mary Lewis.2 He married Maureen Margaret Allan, daughter of David Watson Allan, in 1952.1 He died in May 1990 at age 69 at Solihull, Warwickshire, England.1,3
He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, in the Royal Air Force Coastal Command.1 He was Private Secretary and Aide-de-Camp to his father as Governor of Newfoundland between 1946 and 1949.1
