     Edward Henry Burrows was the son of Captain Montagu Burrows and Mary Anna Whalley-Smythe-Gardiner.2,3 He married Ione Macdonald.4 He married Dorothy Assheton, daughter of Ralph Assheton and Emily Augusta Feilden, on 1 July 1886.1 He died on 29 March 1910.1
     He was a school inspector.4

     Captain Henry Rice was born on 17 December 1743.2 He was the son of Walter Rice and Bridget Griffiths.2 He married Sarah Samson on 29 January 1776.2 He died on 19 March 1797 at age 53.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the East India Company Service.2 He was a shipowner.2

     Ralph Assheton, 1st Baron Clitheroe was born on 24 February 1901.3 He was the son of Sir Ralph Cockayne Assheton, 1st Bt. and Mildred Estelle Sybella Master.3 He married Hon. Sylvia Benita Frances Hotham, daughter of Frederick William Hotham, 6th Baron Hotham of South Dalton and Eliza Benita Sanders, on 24 January 1924.3 He died in 1984.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1923 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1925 entitled to practise as a barrister.3 He was a member of the London Stock Exchange between 1927 and 1939.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire in 1934.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
