Stewart Carmichael1

     Stewart Carmichael was the son of Robert Carmichael and Jean Murray.2 He died after 9 March 1801 at JamaicaG.1
     He may have been the Stewart Carmichael of Bonnyhaugh who was imprisoned at Stirling on suspicion of High Treason, thereafter going to Jamaica.1

Ann Pershall1

     Ann Pershall was the daughter of Sir William Pershall and Frances Aston.1 She married, firstly, Theobald Taaffe, 1st Earl of Carlingford, son of John Taaffe, 1st Viscount Taaffe of Corren and Anne Dillon.1 She married, secondly, Randal Plunkett, 10th Lord Dunsany, son of Edward Plunkett and Lady Catherine Mac Donnell, in 1678.2 She died before May 1711, without issue.1
     Her married name became Taaffe.1 After her marriage, Ann Pershall was styled as Viscountess Taaffe of Corren in 1642. After her marriage, Ann Pershall was styled as Countess of Carlingford on 26 June 1661. From 1678, her married name became Plunkett.1

     Anne Carmichael was the daughter of Sir David Carmichael, 8th of Balmedie and Anne Carmichael.2 She married John Dundas of Duddingston, son of George Dundas and Catherine Monypenny, on 17 February 1670.1 She died in 1711.1
     She was also known as Agnes.1 Her married name became Dundas.

Randal Plunkett, 10th Lord Dunsany1

     Randal Plunkett, 10th Lord Dunsany was the son of Edward Plunkett and Lady Catherine Mac Donnell.2 He married, firstly, Ann Pershall, daughter of Sir William Pershall and Frances Aston, in 1678.3 He married, secondly, Bridget Fleming, daughter of Richard Fleming, in May 1711. He died on 16 March 1735.3
     He succeeded as the 10th Lord Dunsany [I., c. 1462] in 1690.3 On 16 April 1691 he was outlawed on the triumph of the Williamite forces in Ireland, as he had supported King James II.3 He was included in the articles of the Treaty of Limerick, so that his outlawry was reversed. However, because he was Roman Catholic he could not sit in Parliament.3

     John Dundas of Duddingston was born on 15 March 1641.2 He is the son of George Dundas and Catherine Monypenny.2 He married Anne Carmichael, daughter of Sir David Carmichael, 8th of Balmedie and Anne Carmichael, on 17 February 1670.2
     He lived at Duddingston, West Lothian, ScotlandG.2 He had six other sons who died without issue.2

William Taaffe, Viscount Taafe1

     William Taaffe, Viscount Taafe was born before 1647.1 He was the son of Theobald Taaffe, 1st Earl of Carlingford and Mary White.1 He died before December 1673, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 12 November 1688.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 1 October 1691 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
     He was styled as Viscount Taafe between 1661 and 1673.1
