     George Lyon was born on 30 March 1789.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Lyon and Agnes l'Amy.¹
     He was educated at Snowdoun House, Stirlinghsire, Scotland.¹

     Agnes Hamilton Lyon was born on 13 March 1787.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend James Lyon and Agnes l'Amy.¹ She married Reverend William Rogers on 18 August 1812.¹ She died on 30 July 1816 at age 29.¹
     From 18 August 1812, her married name became Rogers.¹

     Reverend William Lyon was the son of Reverend James Lyon and Agnes l'Amy.¹ He died in 1828, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1812 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Minister in 1823 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Reverend James Playfair was born in 1738.² He was the son of George Playfair and Jean Roger.¹ He married Margaret Lyon, daughter of Reverend George Lyon, 4th of Wester Ogil and Margaret Rodger, on 30 September 1773.¹ He died in May 1819.¹
     He was Historiographer Royal for Scotland.¹ He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G, in 1779 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He was the Principal in 1799 at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ He was the Minister in 1800 at Church of St. Leonards, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Mary Miller married Robert Lyon, son of Reverend William Lyon, 3rd of Wester Ogil and Agnes Glas, on 18 August 1755.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     George Lyon was born on 13 January 1770. He was the son of Robert Lyon and Mary Miller.² He married Anne Thomas, daughter of James Llewellyn Lewes Thomas and Letitia Miller, on 7 August 1797.³ He died on 15 July 1850 at age 80.
     He lived at Old Buckenham, Norfolk, England.² He lived at Campden Grove, London, England.² He lived at Forfar, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Anne Thomas was born on 7 November 1771. She was the daughter of James Llewellyn Lewes Thomas and Letitia Miller.¹ She married George Lyon, son of Robert Lyon and Mary Miller, on 7 August 1797.² She died on 11 March 1836 at age 64.³
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Janet Duncan was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Duncan.¹ She married George Lyon, son of George Lyon, 2nd of Wester Ogil and Jean Nisbet, on 16 January 1738.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Jean Chapeman married, firstly, John Auld.¹ She married, secondly, George Lyon, son of George Lyon, 2nd of Wester Ogil and Jean Nisbet, on 18 February 1747.¹
     Her married name became Auld.¹ Her married name became Lyon.

     Elizabeth Wardroper was the daughter of unknown Wardroper.¹ She married George Lyon, son of George Lyon, 2nd of Wester Ogil and Jean Nisbet, on 21 November 1716.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.
