     Commander Edric Guy Philip Bromfield Knapton was born on 23 November 1910 at Lymington, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Captain Augustus Lempriere Knapton Knapton and Gwendolyn Maud Bayly-Jones.1,2 He married Beatrice Armstrong, daughter of Frederick Edmund John Armstrong and Stella Morgan, on 11 December 1937.1 He died on 8 July 1999 at age 88 at Poole, Dorset, EnglandG.2
     He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) on 11 September 1945.1 He lived at Inkpen, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     John FitzGibbon, 2nd Earl of Clare was born on 10 June 1792 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of John FitzGibbon, 1st Earl of Clare and Anne Whaley.1 He married Hon. Elizabeth Julia Georgiana Burrell, daughter of Peter Burrell, 1st Baron Gwydyr and Priscilla Barbara Elizabeth Bertie, Baroness Willoughby de Eresby, on 14 April 1826 at Richmond, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He died on 18 August 1851 at age 59 at Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG, without issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 26 September 1851.1
     He was the subject of a school-boy crush by the George Gordon, Lord Byron.2 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron FitzGibbon of Sidbury, co.      Phoebe Georgina Frances Otway was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Jocelyn Otway.1 She married George Nesbitt Armstrong, son of Charles Nesbitt Frederick Armstrong and Helen Porter Mitchell, on 18 December 1906.1 She and George Nesbitt Armstrong were divorced in 1908.1 She died in 1939.1
     Phoebe Georgina Frances Otway also went by the nick-name of Ruby.1 From 18 December 1906, her married name became Armstrong.1

     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 21 October 1846.1 He fought in the Battle of Balaclava.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Hussars.1

William Howarth Vestey was born on 24 April 1912.2 He was the son of Samuel Vestey, 2nd Baron Vestey and Frances Sarah Howarth.1,2 He married Helen Pamela Fullerton Melba Armstrong, daughter of George Nesbitt Armstrong and Evelyn Mary Doyle, on 27 September 1939.2 He died on 25 June 1944 at age 32 at ItalyG, killed in aciton.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.2
