     Julia Pelly was the daughter of Charles Pelly and Julia Henrietta Dobbs.1,2 She married Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew, son of Sir Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw, 7th Bt. and Madeline Carnegie, on 9 October 1861.1 She died on 15 April 1934.1
     From 9 October 1861, her married name became Agnew.1

     Charles Pelly was born on 31 July 1812.2 He was the son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 1st Bt. and Emma Boulton.2 He married Julia Henrietta Dobbs, daughter of Reverend Richard Stewart Dobbs and Harriet Macauley, on 18 April 1839.3 He died on 30 December 1885 at age 73.2

     Captain Douglas Agnew was born on 5 February 1869.1 He was the son of Thomas Frederick Andrew Agnew and Julia Pelly.1 He married Helen Louise Ann Thorne, daughter of Robert Thorne, on 6 April 1904.1 He died on 4 January 1953 at age 83.1
     He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Captain-Superintendant of the Lancashire and Natioanl Sea Training Homes at Wallasey, Cheshire, EnglandG.1

     Major Frederick Douglas Agnew was born on 18 January 1909.1 He was the son of Captain Douglas Agnew and Helen Louise Ann Thorne.1 He married, firstly, Barbara Glasspool, daughter of Reginald Thomas Booth Glasspool, on 2 April 1938.1 He and Barbara Glasspool were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Vivien Elizabeth Willoughby Bartlett, daughter of Harold Willoughby Bartlett, on 12 October 1951.1 He died on 19 June 1982 at age 73.1
     Major Frederick Douglas Agnew usually went by his middle name of Douglas.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Battalion, King's Regiment (Territorial Army.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1
