     Arthur Upton was born on 31 May 1633.² He was the son of Captain Henry Upton and Mary Clotworthy.³ He married Dorothy Beresford, daughter of Michael Beresford.³ He died in 1706.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Antrim.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carrickfergus in 1661.⁴ He lived at Castle Upton, County Antrim, Ireland^G.⁴ He also had three older sons who did not survive.⁵

     John Chetwynd was born on 13 July 1840.² He was the son of Henry Chetwynd and Mary Anne Petit.³ He married Mary Ellen Hull, daughter of Henry Hull, on 21 February 1867.² He died in October 1885 at age 45.^2,4
