     Mary Flower was born in 1816.² She was the daughter of Jonathan Flower and Mary Nurse.^1,2 She married Philip William Flower, son of John Flower and Martha Drane Wickham.³ She died in 1857.²

     Jonathan Flower was born in 1774.² He died at Grange, Feltwell, Norfolk, England^G.²

     Constance de Rothschild was born in 1843.² She was the daughter of Sir Anthony Nathan Rothschild, 1st Bt. and Louisa Montefiore.^1,3 She married Cyril Flower, 1st and last Baron Battersea of Battersea, son of Philip William Flower and Mary Flower, on 22 November 1877.¹ She died on 22 November 1931 at Overstrand, Norfolk, England^G.⁴
     From 22 November 1877, her married name became Flower.¹ After her marriage, Constance de Rothschild was styled as Baroness Battersea of Battersea on 5 September 1892.

     Sir Anthony Nathan Rothschild, 1st Bt. was born on 29 May 1810.¹ He was the son of Nathan Mayer Rothschild and Hannah Cohen.² He married Louisa Montefiore, daughter of Sir Abraham Montefiore and Henriette Rothschild, on 30 March 1840.¹ He died on 4 January 1876 at age 65, without surviving male issue.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Rothschild [U.K.] on 12 January 1847, with special remainder to his elder brother Lionel's sons.¹

     Joseph Cotton was born on 7 March 1745 at St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England^G.³ He was the son of Dr. Nathaniel Cotton.³ He married Sarah Harrison, daughter of John Harrison and Charlotte Branfill, on 28 January 1779.⁴ He died on 26 January 1825 at age 79 at Leytonstone, Essex, England^G.³
     He was Chairman of East India Dock Company.⁴ He was Deputy Master of Trinity House.⁴ He was Director in the Honourable East India Company Service.⁴ He was a director of the East India Company between 1795 and 1823.³ He was Director of London Assurance Company.⁴ He had four sons and six daughters.⁴

     Sarah Lane was born on 31 May 1790.² She was the daughter of Thomas Lane and Barbara Fowler.¹ She married William Cotton, son of Joseph Cotton and Sarah Harrison, in 1812.¹ She died on 22 December 1872 at age 82.²
     From 1812, her married name became Cotton.¹

     Thomas Lane was born on 30 September 1754 at Pendeford Hall, Staffordshire, England^G.³ He was the son of John Lane and Sarah Fowler.³ He married Barbara Fowler, daughter of Thomas Fowler, on 4 September 1784.³ He died on 10 January 1824 at age 69 at Leyton Grange, Essex, England^G.³
     He was Solicitor Clerk of the Goldsmith's Company.³

     Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Cotton was the son of William Cotton and Sarah Lane.¹ He married Clemence Elizabeth Streatfeild, daughter of Reverend Thomas Streatfeild and Harriet Champion, in 1853 at Sevenoaks, Kent, England.² He died on 22 February 1892 at Liphook, Hampshire, England.²
     He held the office of Lord Justice of Appeal.¹

     Adam de Bavent was the son of Adam de Bavent and Alice de Wisteneston.¹ He married Alice d'Escudamore, daughter of Piers d'Escudamore.¹ He died circa 11 November 1292.¹
     On 1 August 1285 He had a grant of free warren in his demesne lands in Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Suffolk.¹ He lived at Wiston, Sussex, England^G.¹ He lived at Heene, Sussex, England^G.¹ He lived at Cocking, Sussex, England^G.¹
