     Marguerite von Bayern-Straubing was born in 1363 at The Hague, The Netherlands.¹ She was the daughter of Albrecht I Herzog von Bayern-Straubing Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland and Margareta von Schlesien-Liegnitz.³ She married Jean I de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne, son of Philippe II de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne and Marguerite de Flandre, Comtesse de Flandre, on 9 April 1385 at Cambrai, France^G.⁴ She died on 23 January 1423 at Dijon, France.⁴

     Albrecht I Herzog von Bayern-Straubing Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland was born on 25 July 1336 at Munich, Germany.² He was the son of Ludwig IV von Bayern, Holy Roman Emperor and Marguerite III d'Avesnes, Comtesse de Hainaut et Gravin van Holland en Zeeland.³ He married, firstly, Margareta von Schlesien-Liegnitz, daughter of Ludwig I Herzog von Brieg, on 19 July 1353.² He married, secondly, Margareta von der Mark-Kleve, daughter of Adolf III Graf von der Mark Graf von Kleve und Kurfürst von Köln and Margareta von Jülich-Berg, on 30 March 1394.² He died on 12 December 1404 at age 68 at Binnehof Palace, The Hague, The Netherlands.² He was buried at Hof Chapel, The Hague, The Netherlands.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Bayern-Straubing in 1353.³ He held the office of Regent of Holland between 1358 and 1389.⁴ He succeeded as the Graaf van Holland en Zeeland in 1389.⁴ He gained the title of Comte de Hainaut in 1389.¹

     Marie de Valois-Bourgogne was born in 1394.² She was the daughter of Jean I de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne and Marguerite von Bayern-Straubing.¹ She married Adolf I Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve und Graf van Ravensberg, son of Adolf III Graf von der Mark Graf von Kleve und Kurfürst von Köln and Margareta von Jülich-Berg, in 1406.¹ She died in 1473.¹ She was also reported to have died on 30 October 1463 at Castle Monterberg, Kalkar, Germany.²

     Johann I Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve und Graf von Ravensberg was born on 16 February 1419 at Düsseldorf, Germany.^1,2 He was the son of Adolf I Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve und Graf van Ravensberg and Marie de Valois-Bourgogne.¹ He married Elizabeth de Bourgogne-Nevers, daughter of Jean de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers et de Rethel and Jacqueline d'Ailly, on 22 April 1455. He died on 5 September 1481 at age 62.^1,2
     He gained the title of Herzog von Kleve.¹

     Elizabeth de Bourgogne-Nevers was born in 1440.² She was the daughter of Jean de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers et de Rethel and Jacqueline d'Ailly.¹ She married Johann I Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve und Graf von Ravensberg, son of Adolf I Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve und Graf van Ravensberg and Marie de Valois-Bourgogne, on 22 April 1455. She died on 21 June 1483.

     Charles de Valois, Comte de Nevers was born in 1414.¹ He was the son of Philip de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers and Bona d'Artois.¹ He married Marie d'Albret, daughter of Charles d'Albret, Comte de Dreux, in 1456.¹ He died in 1464.¹
     He gained the title of Comte de Nevers.

     Marie d'Albret was born before 1441. She was the daughter of Charles d'Albret, Comte de Dreux.¹ She married Charles de Valois, Comte de Nevers, son of Philip de Bourgogne, Comte de Nevers and Bona d'Artois, in 1456.¹ She died in 1485.¹

     Jacqueline von Bayern-Straubing, Comtesse de Hainaut et Gravin van Holland en Zeeland was born on 16 July 1401 at Le Quesnoy, France.^3,4 She was the daughter of Wilhelm IV Herzog von Bayern-Straubing Comte de Hainaut et Graaf van Holland en Zeeland and Marguerite de Bourgogne.¹ She married, firstly, Jean de Viennois, Dauphin de France in July 1406.³ She married, secondly, Jean IV de Valois, Duc de Brabant, son of Antoine de Valois, Duc de Brabant and Jeanne de Luxembourg, on 10 March 1418.³ She married, thirdly, Humphrey Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester, son of Henry IV, King of England and Lady Mary de Bohun, before 7 March 1422/23.³ She and Humphrey Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester were divorced on 9 July 1428 by Papal Decree, pronouncing as valid her marriage to John IV of Brabant.³ She married, fourthly, Frank II van Borselen Heer van St. Maartensdijk en Zuylen, Graaf van Oostervant, son of Floris II van Borselen Heer van St. Maartensdijk en Zuylen and Oda van Boutershem, in July 1432 at Oostende, Belgium^G.³ She died on 8 October 1436 at age 35 at Schloss Teilingen, Leyden, The Netherlands^G.³ She was buried at The Hague, The Netherlands^G.³
     She succeeded as the Herzogin von Bayern in 1417.³ She succeeded as the Gravin van Holland en Zeeland in 1417.⁵ She succeeded as the Comtesse de Hainaut in 1417. Her marriage to Jean IV de Valois, Duc de Brabant was annulled in 1421/22 by the Anti-Pope, Benedict XIII.³ She was appointed Lady Companion, Order of the Garter (L.G.) in 1423.³ She was deposed as Countess of all of her territories except Ostrevant by the Duke of Burgundy in 1433.³

     Marie de Valois-Bourgogne was born in September 1386 at Dijon, France.^2,3 She was the daughter of Philippe II de Valois, Duc de Bourgogne and Marguerite de Flandre, Comtesse de Flandre.¹ She married Amadeo VIII Duca di Savoia, son of Amadeo VII Conte di Savoia and Bonne de Berry, Vicomtesse de Carlat et de Murat, on 30 October 1401 at Arras, France^G.^2,3 She died on 8 October 1422 at age 36 at Chateau of Thonon les Bains.^2,3

     Giovanni di Savoia was born in 1437.¹ He was the son of Ludovico I Duca di Savoia and Anne de Lusignan, Princess of Cyprus.¹ He died in 1440.¹
