Edmund de Holand, 4th/7th Earl of Kent was born on 6 January 1382/83.2 He was the son of Thomas de Holand, 2nd/5th Earl of Kent and Lady Alice FitzAlan.1 He married Lucia Visconti, daughter of Bernabò Visconti, Duca di Milano and Regina Beatrice della Scala, on 24 January 1406/7 at St. Mary Overy, Southwark, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 15 September 1408 at age 25, without legitimate issue, killed in action in an invasion of Brittany.2

William de Willoughby, 5th Lord Willoughby de Eresby was born circa 1370.2 He was the son of Robert de Willoughby, 4th Lord Willoughby de Eresby and Alice Skipwith.2 He married, firstly, Lucy Lestrange, daughter of Roger Lestrange, 5th Lord Strange (of Knokyn) and Lady Aline Fitzalan, before 23 April 1383.3 He married, secondly, Joan de Holand, daughter of Thomas de Holand, 2nd/5th Earl of Kent and Lady Alice FitzAlan, between 1 August 1402 and 9 August 1404.1 He died on 4 December 1409.4
He succeeded as the 5th Lord Willoughby de Eresby [E., 1313] on 9 August 1396.1 In 1399 he assisted at the usurption of the Duke of Lancaster.2 On 29 September 1399 he attended the abdication of King Richard II in the Tower of London.2
