     Robert Horace Powys was born on 21 June 1826.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Vernon Powys and Jane Beckett.¹ He married Ellen Elizabeth Budd, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry Budd, on 4 December 1856.¹ He died on 17 September 1913 at age 87.¹

     Ellen Elizabeth Budd was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Henry Budd. She married Robert Horace Powys, son of Hon. Robert Vernon Powys and Jane Beckett, on 4 December 1856.¹ She died on 10 July 1916.
     Her married name became Powys.

     Lt.-Col. William Henry Budd gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.

     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Lilford of Lilford, co. Northampton [G.B., 1797] on 19 September 1949.¹

     Eveline (?) married Vernon George Powys, 7th Baron Lilford of Lilford, son of Robert Horace Powys and Vera Grace Bryant, in July 1954.¹ She and Vernon George Powys, 7th Baron Lilford of Lilford were divorced before June 1957.¹
     Her married name became Bird.¹ After her marriage, Eveline (?) was styled as Baroness Lilford of Lilford in July 1954. From July 1954, her married name became Powys.
