Maj.-Gen. Charles Harvey Miller was born on 11 September 1894. He was the son of Robert Miller. He married Hon. Bridget Violet Douglas-Pennant, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Maud Eleonora Hardy, on 15 November 1923.1 He died on 23 December 1974 at age 80.1
He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Armoured Corps.1 He was Chief Staff to HRH the Duke of Gloucester between 1946 and 1947 at Australia.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

Colonel Malcolm Frank Douglas-Pennant, 6th Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai was born on 11 July 1908. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frank Douglas-Pennant, 5th Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Alice Nellie Cooper.1 He married Elizabeth Rosemary Laurie, daughter of Brigadier Sir Percy Robert Laurie and Ethel Frances Lawson Johnston, on 9 June 1954.2 He died on 8 November 2003 at age 95.3
