Susan Moore Maddy was the daughter of Reverend John Maddy.2 She married, firstly, William Wrighte Hewett, son of William Nathan Wrighte Hewett and Martha Turting, on 12 October 1824 at Suffolk, England.1 She married, secondly, Hon. Edward John Upton, son of John Henry Upton, 1st Viscount Templetown and Lady Mary Montagu, on 14 October 1843.3 She died in July 1866 at Koblenz, Germany.3
