     Reverend Hugh Hamilton was born on 6 January 1707.¹ He was the son of Hugh Hamilton of Clongall and Jean Ferguson.¹ He married Helen Glen on 28 April 1743.¹ He died on 2 June 1787 at age 80.¹

     Lilias Ritchie was born on 19 July 1759.¹ She was the daughter of James Ritchie of Busbie and Craigton and Frances Montgomerie.¹ She married Hugh Hamilton of Pinmore and Belleilse, son of Reverend Hugh Hamilton and Helen Glen.¹ She died circa 1817.¹
     Her married name became Hamilton.¹

     Frances Montgomerie was born circa 1739.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie and Lillias Montgomerie.¹ She married James Ritchie of Busbie and Craigton.¹ She died on 3 August 1763.¹
     Her married name became Ritchie.¹

     Jean Hamilton was born in 1751.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Hugh Hamilton and Helen Glen.¹ She married Thomas Crawford of Ardmillan.¹
     Her married name became Crawford.¹

     Thomas Crawford of Ardmillan married Jean Hamilton, daughter of Reverend Hugh Hamilton and Helen Glen.¹
