     Major Hon. George William ffolkes Dawnay was born on 20 April 1909 at London, England.1,2 He was the son of John Dawnay, 9th Viscount Downe and Dorothy ffolkes.1 He married Rosemary Helen Grosvenor, daughter of S/Ldr. Lord Edward Arthur Grosvenor and Lady Dorothy Margaret Browne, on 23 July 1945.1 He died on 9 August 1990 at age 81 at King's Lynn, Norfolk, England.1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)3 He retired from the military in 1959, with the rank of Major, late of the Coldstream Guards.1 He was a director of Barclays Bank.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1961.1

Paul de Grey Horatio Seymour, son of Commander Lord George Frederick Seymour and Norah Skipwith, on 16 October 1937.1 She married, secondly, Ian Hamilton Barrett, son of James Arthur Samuel Barrett, on 22 December 1948.1
     From 16 October 1937, her married name became Seymour. From 22 December 1948, her married name became Barrett.

     Captain Harold Lionel Phillips was born on 4 June 1886.2 He was the son of Sir Lionel Phillips, 1st Bt. and Dorothea Sarah Florence Alexandra Ortlepp.2 He married Hilda Wildman Hills, daughter of Frank Hills, on 11 June 1913.2 He died on 22 June 1926 at age 40.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Witwatersrand Rifles.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)2

     John Elphinstone, 3rd Lord Balmerinoch was born on 18 February 1623 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of John Elphinstone, 2nd Lord Balmerinoch and Ann Kerr.1 He married Lady Margaret Campbell, daughter of John Campbell, 1st Earl of Loudoun and Margaret Campbell, 2nd Baroness Campbell of Loudoun, on 30 October 1649 at Holyrood House Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 10 June 1704 at age 81.1 He was buried at Restalrig, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Balmerinoch [S., 1606] on 28 February 1648/49.1 He was forced to sell most of his estates as a result of his father's debts and several alwsuits.1 In 1662 he was fined £6,000 by the Scottish Parliament for his compliance with Cromwell's government.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Coupar [S., 1607] in January 1668/69.2
