     Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie was the daughter of George Molyneux-Montgomerie.² She married Francis Carleton, son of John Carleton and Elizabeth Hodgson, on 9 September 1809.¹ She died in December 1874.¹
     From 9 September 1809, her married name became Carleton.

     Hugh Francis Carleton was born on 3 July 1810.¹ He was the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.³ He married Lydia Jane Williams, daughter of Venerable Henry Williams and Marianne Coldham, on 30 November 1859 at Pakaraka, Northland, New Zealand.^1,4 He died on 14 July 1890 at age 80 at Lewisham, Surrey, England, without issue.^1,4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.⁴ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.⁴ He emigrated to New Zealand arriving on 1845.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [New Zealand]² He lived at Clare, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Greenfields, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     General Henry Alexander Carleton was born on 28 February 1814.² He was the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.³ He married Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Armor Boyle, on 22 December 1855.² He died on 22 February 1900 at age 85.²
     He was educated at Addiscombe Military College, Addiscombe, London, England^G.² He was commissioned in 1830, in the service of the Bengal Artillery.² In 1851 he served (with Sir Colin Campbell) in Peshawar Valley against Momunds.² He gained the rank of officer after 1857 in the Royal Artillery.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1858.² He fought in the Siege and Capture of Lucknow in 1858, where he commanded a Division.² He was present at action of Nawab Gunge (under Sir Hope Grant.)² He was Colonel Commandant of the Royal Artillery.² He gained the rank of General in the Royal Artillery.⁴ He lived at Clare, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Greenfields, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     Frederick Carleton was born on 23 July 1821.¹ He was the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.² He died on 15 May 1867 at age 45, unmarried.¹

     Percival Augustus Carleton was born on 7 April 1825.¹ He was the son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.² He married Susan Georgiana Hare, daughter of Charles Hare, on 21 April 1865.¹ He died on 13 December 1869 at age 44.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Surrey Militia.¹ He served in the Anglo-Turkish Contingent.¹

     Charles Hare lived at Wormley, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Susan Georgiana Hare is the daughter of Charles Hare.² She married Percival Augustus Carleton, son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie, on 21 April 1865.¹
     From 21 April 1865, her married name became Carleton.

     Frances Laura Carleton was born on 28 March 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Percival Augustus Carleton and Susan Georgiana Hare.² She married Major Arthur M. Connolly on 23 February 1897.¹
     From 23 February 1897, her married name became Connolly.

     Major Arthur M. Connolly married Frances Laura Carleton, daughter of Percival Augustus Carleton and Susan Georgiana Hare, on 23 February 1897.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Marines.¹

     Mary Carleton was the daughter of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie.² She married Auguste de Mont Richer in 1838.¹ She died on 2 July 1898.¹
