     Sophia Helena Rudd was born on 9 June 1857 at Bromborough, Cheshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of William Thomas Rudd and Mary Sophia Potchett.¹ She married Rowland Henry Wedgwood, son of Henry Allen Wedgwood and Jessie Wedgwood, on 25 September 1883 at St. Mary & St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Stella Road, Blaydon-on-Tyne, County Durham, England.¹ She died on 18 January 1899 at age 41 at Culver Cottage, Slindon, Sussex, England.¹
     From 25 September 1883, her married name became Wedgwood.¹
