     Dr. William Battie was born on 1 September 1703 at Modbury, Devon, England.2 He was the son of Reverend Edward Battie.2 He married Anne Goode, daughter of Barnham Goode, on 31 August 1739.2 He died on 13 June 1776 at age 72 at Great Russell Road, London, England.3,4 His will was proven (by probate), at supposedly over £100,000.5

     Sir Udolphus Aylmer, 7th Lord Aylmer was born on 10 June 1814.1 He was the son of Captain John Athelmar Aylmer and Elizabeth Coates.1 He was baptised on 2 July 1814 at St. Werburgh's, Derby, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He married Mary Eliza Journeaux, daughter of Edward Journeaux, on 28 June 1841.1 He died on 30 November 1901 at age 87 at Melbourne, Quebec, CanadaG.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Canadian Militia.2 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Aylmer, Baron of Balrath, co. Meath [I., 1718] on 5 March 1858.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Aylmer, of Balrath, co. Meath [I., 1662] on 5 March 1858.1 On 10 July 1860 his claim to the Peerage was allowed.1
