     Christopher Ironside was born on 11 July 1913.1 He married, firstly, Janey Acheson in 1939.1 He and Janey Acheson were divorced in 1961.1 He married Jean Marsden in 1961.1 He died on 13 July 1992 at age 79 at Winchester, Hampshire, England.1
     He was appointed FSIA in 1970.1 He was an artist and designer.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1971.1 He was appointed FRBS in 1977.1
