Colonel Sir Charles Hughes-Hunter, 1st Bt. was born circa 1845 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He married Sarah Elizabeth Hughes, daughter of William Bulkeley Hughes and Elizabeth Donkin, in 1876 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.2 He was created 1st Baronet Hughes-Hunter, of Plâs Côch, in the parish of Llanedwen, in the county of Anglesey [U.K.] in 1906.

Sir John Donald Horsfall, 2nd Bt. was born on 1 June 1891.2 He was the son of Sir John Cousin Horsfall, 1st Bt. and Sarah Emily Fawcett.3 He married, firstly, Henrietta Musgrave, daughter of William Musgrave, on 28 October 1914.2 He married, secondly, Gladys Broster, daughter of Robert Buck Broster, on 24 August 1953.2 He died in 1975.2
