Sir Thomas d'Arcy, 1st Bt. was born on 1 January 1632.2 He was the son of Thomas d'Arcy and Mary Astley.3,2 He married Cicely d'Ewes, daughter of Sir Simonds d'Ewes, 1st Bt. and Anne Clopton. He married Jane Cole, daughter of Robert Cole, in 1663.2 He died in April 1693 at age 61.2
He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He held the office of Gentlemen of the Privy Chamber in 1660.2 He was created 1st Baronet d'Arcy [England] on 19 June 1660.
