Sir William Wrey, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Wrey, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Courtenay.2 He married Elizabeth Chichester, daughter of Edward Chichester, 1st Viscount Chichester of Carrickfergus, on 6 October 1624.1 He died in August 1645.1
He was appointed Knight in 1634.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wrey, of Trebitch, Cornwall [E., 1628] in June 1636.1
