     Edgar Wilmer Walker was born on 3 August 1875.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Charles Francis Walker and Edith Frances Duncombe.² He married Charlotte Rankin Maule, daughter of Sir Robert Maule, on 17 April 1906.¹ He died before 28 October 1914 at Armentières, France^G, killed in action.¹
     He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Sir Robert Maule held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Charlotte Rankin Maule was the daughter of Sir Robert Maule.² She married, firstly, Edgar Wilmer Walker, son of Rear-Admiral Charles Francis Walker and Edith Frances Duncombe, on 17 April 1906.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Evelyn James Hewitt, 7th Viscount Lifford, son of Archibald Robert Hewitt, 6th Viscount Lifford and Helen Blanche Geach, on 8 July 1919.² She died on 2 April 1954.²
     From 17 April 1906, her married name became Walker. From 8 July 1919, her married name became Hewitt.² After her marriage, Charlotte Rankin Maule was styled as Viscountess Lifford on 22 March 1925.

     Francis Robert Walker was born on 21 February 1910.¹ He is the son of Edgar Wilmer Walker and Charlotte Rankin Maule.²
