Colonel Bernard Arnold Barrington Butler was the son of Spencer Percival Butler.2 He married Winifred Emmeline Cohen, daughter of Rt. Hon. Arthur Cohen and Emmeline Micholls, on 24 July 1905.1 He died on 23 October 1918, from wounds received in action.1
He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
