     Kate Elisabeth Douglas was born on 22 October 2002.¹ She is the daughter of John Sholto James Douglas and Mieke Elisabeth van der Bergh.¹

     Augusta Anne Bankes was baptised on 10 April 1833 at Mortlake, Surrey, England.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. George Bankes and Georgina Charlotte Nugent.¹ She married Hon. Edward William Douglas, son of George Sholto Douglas, 17th Earl of Morton and Frances Theodora Rose, on 16 July 1857.¹ She died on 6 May 1880 at age 47, without issue.¹
     From 16 July 1857, her married name became Douglas.¹

     Anna Maria Harriet Richards was the daughter of Richard Richards.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Hon. Arthur Gascoigne Douglas, son of George Sholto Douglas, 17th Earl of Morton and Frances Theodora Rose, on 17 April 1855.¹ She died on 13 May 1915.¹
     From 17 April 1855, her married name became Douglas.¹
