Isabella Fraser was the daughter of General Sir Hugh Fraser of Braelangwell.2 She married Beauchamp Colclough Urquhart of Meldrum, son of Beauchamp Colclough Urquhart of Meldrum and Anne Jane Fitzsimons, on 5 August 1856 at Resolis, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland.1,3 She died on 26 September 1862.3

Major Beauchamp Colclough Urquhart of Meldrum was born on 20 July 1860.1,2 He was the son of Beauchamp Colclough Urquhart of Meldrum and Isabella Fraser.3 He was baptised on 29 September 1860 at Murree, Bengal, India.2 He died on 8 April 1898 at age 37 at Atbara, Sudan, killed in action.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1898.1
