Lt.-Col. Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon was born on 28 April 1883.1 He was the son of Lord Granville Armyne Gordon and Charlotte D'Olier Roe.1 He married Violet Ida Streatfeild, daughter of Gerard Streatfeild and Ida Combe, on 20 April 1907.1 He died on 3 October 1930 at age 47.1
