Janet Murray was the daughter of William Murray of Polmaise and Touchadam. She married, firstly, James Sandilands, 1st Lord Torphichen, son of Sir James Sandilands, 7th of Calder and Mariot Forrester, before 12 September 1560.1 She married, secondly, John Grahame of Hallyards before 9 June 1584.1 She married, thirdly, Sir Peter Young of Seaton on 6 May 1596.1 She died on 29 November 1596.1
