Lt.-Col. Frank Adolphus Hood Stanier was born in 1895.1 He was the son of Frank Justice Stanier and Beatrice Hood.2 He married, firstly, Dulce Constance Stanier, daughter of Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt. and Sarah Constance Gibbons, on 9 September 1919.1 He and Dulce Constance Stanier were divorced in 1936.1 He married, thirdly, Dorothy Hood, daughter of Lt.-Col. F. J. Hood, in 1938.1 He died on 9 March 1949.1
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1922.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry.1

Sir Beville Stanier, 1st Bt. was born on 12 June 1867.1 He is the son of Francis Stanier and Caroline Judith Justice.2,1 He married Sarah Constance Gibbons, daughter of Reverend Benjamin Gibbons, on 12 December 1894.1 He died on 15 December 1921 at age 54.1
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Shropshire Light Infantry (TF.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Newport between 1908 and 1918.1 He was Secretary of Shropshire TFA between 1914 and 1918.1 He was created 1st Baronet Stanier, of Peplow Hall, Market Drayton, Shropshire [U.K.] on 16 July 1917.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Ludlow between 1918 and 1921.1
