Thomas Stanier was born in October 1769.1 He was the son of Francis Stanier and Dorothy Pickstock.2 He married Ann Halmarack on 4 April 1805.1 He died on 10 April 1856 at age 86.1

Francis Stanier was born on 11 July 1808.1 He was the son of Thomas Stanier and Ann Halmarack.2 He married Mary Wilkinson, daughter of Frederick Wilkinson and Susannah Sparrow, on 28 July 1834 at Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England.1,3 He died on 13 October 1856 at age 48.1
He was a practising an attorney.1 He held the office of Mayor of Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1851.1 He lived at Madeley Manor, Staffordshire, England.1 He lived at Moor House, Biddulph, Staffordshire, England.1 He was , with other issue, including two younger sons (Thomas, of Madeley Manor, Justice of the Peace (J.P.) Francis Stanier was born on 30 January 1838.1 He was the son of Francis Stanier and Mary Wilkinson.2 He married Caroline Judith Justice, daughter of General William Justice, on 6 June 1860.1 He died on 7 October 1900 at age 62.1
