     Captain Hugh Askew Corbett was born on 25 June 1916 at Stepney, London, England.² He was the son of Reverend Frederick St. John's Corbett.³ He married Patricia Nancy Spens, daughter of Thomas Patrick Spens and Nancy Farie Anderson, on 14 July 1945.¹ He died on 19 April 2012 at age 95.²
