     Edith Mary Snell was born on 10 May 1840.2 She was the daughter of Major Charles Snell and Anne Alicia Todd.1,3 She married Robert Ormond Maugham, son of Robert Maugham and Mary Corrock, on 1 October 1863.4 She died on 31 January 1882 at age 41.2
     From 1 October 1863, her married name became Maugham.4

     Robert Brereton was born in 1727.1 He was the son of William Brereton and Alice Norcott.2 He married, firstly, Lucy Jones.1 He married, secondly, Honoria Dwarris, daughter of Colonel Thomas Dwarris, in 1760.1 He married, thirdly, Anne Smith, daughter of Major unknown Smith, in September 1782.1 He died in October 1790.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 49th Foot.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Jamaica], for St. Catherine's and Kingston.1 He held the office of Judge of the Surrey Assizes [Jamaica] in 1782.1 He lived at Kingston, JamaicaG.1

Hon. Sir Robert Romer and Betty Lemon, on 19 December 1896 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.1,3 He died on 23 March 1958 at age 91.4
