     Irmengarde van Gelre was born in 1185.¹ She was the daughter of Otto I Graaf van Gelre en Zutphen Heer van Veluwe and Richarde von Wittelsbach-Bayern.¹ She married Adolf I Graf von der Mark, son of Friedrich Graf von Berg-Altena and Alvarade von Krieckenbeck, in 1200.¹ She died after 1230.¹

     Richarde von der Mark was born in 1200.¹ She was the daughter of Adolf I Graf von der Mark and Irmengarde van Gelre.¹ She married Otto I Graaf van Dale Heer van Diepeheim in 1220.¹ She died in 1270.¹

     Mary Matilda Gertrude Somerset was born in 1841.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Somerset and Frances Sarah Heathcote.¹ He was born in 1913.¹

     Penelope Pitches was the daughter of Sir Abraham Pitches.² She married Sir Robert Sheffield, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Charles Herbert Sheffield, 1st Bt. and Margaret Diana Sabine, in 1785.¹ She died on 22 June 1787.¹
     From 1785, her married name became Sheffield.

     Maria Bowen was the daughter of Major Henry Bowen and Henrietta Garstin.¹ She married Major Thomas van Straubenzee, son of Charles Spencer van Straubenzee and Anne Theophilia Davison, on 17 April 1808.¹ She died in January 1871.¹
     From 17 April 1808, her married name became van Straubenzee.¹

     Charles Sheffield was born on 19 October 1797.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Sheffield, 3rd Bt. and Sarah Anne Kennet.² He married Lucy Smelt, daughter of Colonel unknown Smelt, on 20 November 1820.¹ He died on 20 February 1882 at age 84.¹
     He was Rector at Flixborough, Lincolnshire, England.¹ He had three other daughters (died young or unmarried.)¹

     Lucy Smelt was the daughter of Colonel unknown Smelt.² She married Charles Sheffield, son of Sir Robert Sheffield, 3rd Bt. and Sarah Anne Kennet, on 20 November 1820.¹ She died on 15 February 1857.¹
     From 20 November 1820, her married name became Sheffield.

     Caroline Alice Sheffield was the daughter of Charles Sheffield and Lucy Smelt.² She married Reverend Charles Lloyd on 20 April 1841 at Burton-upon-Stather, Lincolnshire, England.^1,3 She died on 29 June 1893.¹
     From 20 April 1841, her married name became Lloyd.

     Reverend Charles Lloyd married Caroline Alice Sheffield, daughter of Charles Sheffield and Lucy Smelt, on 20 April 1841 at Burton-upon-Stather, Lincolnshire, England.^1,2 He died on 29 April 1883.¹
     He held the office of Canon of Christchurch, Oxford.² He was Rector at Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, England.¹
