     Sophia Penelope Sheffield was the daughter of Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt. and Julia Brigidia Newbolt.^1,2 She married, firstly, William Thomas Horner Fox-Strangways, 4th Earl of Ilchester, son of Henry Thomas Fox-Strangways, 2nd Earl of Ilchester and Maria Digby, on 21 July 1857.¹ She married, secondly, William George Hylton Jolliffe, 1st Baron Hylton of Hylton, son of Reverend William John Jolliffe and Julia Pytches, on 19 January 1867.¹
     From 21 July 1857, her married name became Fox-Strangways. After her marriage, Sophia Penelope Sheffield was styled as Countess of Ilchester on 3 January 1858. From 19 January 1867, her married name became Jolliffe. After her marriage, Sophia Penelope Sheffield was styled as Baroness Hylton of Hylton on 19 January 1867.

     Priscilla Isabel Laura Dumaresq was born before 1839 at Australia.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Henry Dumaresq and Lady Elizabeth Sophia Butler-Danvers.^2,3 She married, firstly, Sir Robert Sheffield, 5th Bt., son of Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt. and Julia Brigidia Newbolt, on 30 January 1867.² She married, secondly, Colonel Thomas Astell St. Quintin, son of Thomas St. Quintin, on 15 March 1890.² She died on 30 May 1900.²
     From 30 January 1867, her married name became Sheffield. From 15 March 1890, her married name became St. Quintin.

     Colonel Thomas Astell St. Quintin was born on 9 August 1840 at Hatley Park, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was the son of Thomas St. Quintin.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Eleanor Frances Browne, daughter of John Cavendish Browne, 3rd Baron Kilmaine and Mary Law, on 30 April 1868.² He married, secondly, Priscilla Isabel Laura Dumaresq, daughter of Colonel Henry Dumaresq and Lady Elizabeth Sophia Butler-Danvers, on 15 March 1890.³ He died on 3 April 1918 at age 77.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 10th Hussars.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the 8th Hussars.¹

     Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt. was born on 25 February 1786.² He was the son of Sir Robert Sheffield, 3rd Bt. and Penelope Pitches.³ He married Julia Brigidia Newbolt, daughter of Sir John Henry Newbolt and Elizabeth Juliana Digby, on 8 December 1818.³ He died on 7 November 1862 at age 76.³
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Sheffield, of Normanby, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1755] on 26 February 1815.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire between 1817 and 1818.² He lived at Normanby Park, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Julia Brigidia Newbolt was born in 1800.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Henry Newbolt and Elizabeth Juliana Digby.¹ She married Sir Robert Sheffield, 4th Bt., son of Sir Robert Sheffield, 3rd Bt. and Penelope Pitches, on 8 December 1818.² She died on 28 October 1875.³
     Her married name became Sheffield.

     Hon. Julian Henry Charles Fane was born on 10 October 1827.² He was the son of General John Fane, 11th Earl of Westmorland and Lady Priscilla Anne Wellesley-Pole.² He married Lady Adine Eliza Anne Cowper, daughter of George Augustus Frederick Cowper, 6th Earl Cowper and Anne Florence Weddell, Baroness Lucas, on 29 September 1866.¹ He died on 19 April 1870 at age 42.³
     He was Secretary of the Embassy to Paris.² He was Secretary of the Embassy to Vienna.²

     Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman was born on 24 March 1877.¹ She was the daughter of George Cecil Orlando Bridgeman, 4th Earl of Bradford and Lady Ida Frances Annabella Lumley.¹ She married Ronald Collet Norman, son of Frederick Henry Norman and Lina Susan Penelope Collet, on 10 February 1904.¹ She died on 16 June 1936 at age 59.¹
     Her married name became Norman.

     Ronald Collet Norman was born on 15 November 1873.² He was the son of Frederick Henry Norman and Lina Susan Penelope Collet.³ He married Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman, daughter of George Cecil Orlando Bridgeman, 4th Earl of Bradford and Lady Ida Frances Annabella Lumley, on 10 February 1904.³ He died on 5 December 1963 at age 90.³
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Moor Place, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Frederick Henry Norman was born on 23 January 1839.² He was the son of George Warde Norman and Sibella Stone.^2,3 He married Lina Susan Penelope Collet, daughter of Sir Mark Wilks Collet, 1st Bt., on 15 November 1870.² He died on 6 October 1916 at age 77.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)⁴ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1861 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1863 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1865 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1899.² He lived at Moor Place, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, England^G.⁵

     Commander Hon. Richard Orlando Beaconsfield Bridgeman was born on 28 February 1879.¹ He was the son of George Cecil Orlando Bridgeman, 4th Earl of Bradford and Lady Ida Frances Annabella Lumley.¹ He died on 9 January 1917 at age 37, killed while on active service in East Africa.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War.
