     Madeleine Anna Barclay was born in 1880 at Walton On Thames, Surrey, England.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Barclay and Charlotte Cassandra Cherry.¹ She married William Meysey Hornby, son of Reverend Charles Edward Hornby and Harriet Catherine Turton, in 1911 at Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.¹
     From 1911, her married name became Hornby.¹

     Miles R. Hornby was born in 1912 at Epsom, Surrey, England.¹ He is the son of William Meysey Hornby and Madeleine Anna Barclay.¹
