     Hon. Arnold Nottage Palmer was born on 14 September 1886.¹ He was the son of Samuel Ernest Palmer, 1st Baron Palmer and Amy Christiana Nottage.² He married Marjorie Freeland, daughter of Alexander Freeland, on 19 June 1911.¹ He died on 27 November 1973 at age 87.¹

     Marjorie Freeland was the daughter of Alexander Freeland.² She married Hon. Arnold Nottage Palmer, son of Samuel Ernest Palmer, 1st Baron Palmer and Amy Christiana Nottage, on 19 June 1911.¹ She died on 5 April 1966.¹
     From 19 June 1911, her married name became Palmer.¹
