     Major Hon. Lionel Henry Dudley Fortescue was born on 10 November 1857.1 He was the son of Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue and Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer.1 He married Emily Elizabeth Adam, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Patrick Adam and Emily Eliza Wylie, on 5 July 1895.1 He died on 11 June 1900 at age 42, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 17th Lancers.1 He fought in the Boer War.1

     Emily Elizabeth Adam was born on 18 October 1867.2 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. William Patrick Adam and Emily Eliza Wylie.1,2 She married, firstly, Major Hon. Lionel Henry Dudley Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue and Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer, on 5 July 1895.1 She married, secondly, Walter B. Ferrie on 3 September 1912.1 She died on 3 February 1932 at age 64.1
     From 5 July 1895, her married name became Fortescue. From 3 September 1912, her married name became Ferrie.

     Her married name became Fortescue.

     Reverend Frederic Fane was born on 11 July 1825 at Moyles Court, Hampshire, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of Reverend Edward Fane and Maria Hodges.2 He was baptised on 6 August 1825 at Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cockburn, daughter of James Peel Cockburn and Ellen Peel, on 19 August 1851.2 He married, secondly, Fanny Eliza Magniac, daughter of Hollingworth Magniac and Helen Sampson, on 28 October 1864 at Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.3 He died on 22 February 1902 at age 76.2
     He lived at Moyles Court, Hampshire, EnglandG.1

Sir John William Fortescue was born on 28 December 1859.1 He was the son of Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue and Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer.1 He married Winifred Beech, daughter of Reverend Howard Beech, on 30 April 1914.1 He died on 22 October 1933 at age 73, without issue.1

     Winifred Beech was the daughter of Reverend Howard Beech.1 She married Major Hon. Sir John William Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue and Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer, on 30 April 1914.1 She died on 9 April 1951.1
     Her married name became Fortescue.
