     Marie Anne Cathcart was born on 26 October 1727.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Charles Cathcart, 8th Lord Cathcart and Marion Shaw.³ She married William Napier, 7th Lord Napier of Merchistoun, son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Henrietta Hope, on 22 December 1754 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^3,4 She died on 11 July 1774 at age 46.²
     From 22 December 1754, her married name became Napier.

     Hugh Fortescue, 2nd Earl Fortescue was born on 13 February 1783.¹ He was the son of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville.² He married, firstly, Lady Susan Ryder, daughter of Dudley Ryder, 1st Earl of Harrowby and Lady Susan Leveson-Gower, on 4 July 1817 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.³ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Geale, daughter of Piers Geale, on 26 July 1841 at Vice Regal Lodge, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.³ He died on 14 September 1861 at age 78.¹

     Lady Susan Ryder was born on 20 June 1796.¹ She was the daughter of Dudley Ryder, 1st Earl of Harrowby and Lady Susan Leveson-Gower.¹ She was baptised on 20 July 1796 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, England^G.² She married Hugh Fortescue, 2nd Earl Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville, on 4 July 1817 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 30 July 1827 at age 31 at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London, England^G, in childbed.¹
     Her married name became Fortescue.

     Elizabeth Geale was born circa 1805.¹ She was the daughter of Piers Geale. She married, firstly, Sir Marcus Somerville, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Quaile Somerville, 3rd Bt. and Catherine Crofton, on 7 April 1825.² She married, secondly, Hugh Fortescue, 2nd Earl Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 1st Earl Fortescue and Hester Grenville, on 26 July 1841 at Vice Regal Lodge, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ She died on 4 May 1896 at 58 Brook Street, London, England^G.¹
     From before 1841, her married name became Somerville.² From 26 July 1841, her married name became Fortescue. After her marriage, Elizabeth Geale was styled as Countess of Fortescue on 26 July 1841.

     Colonel Aislabie Landon is the son of Charles Ginkell Landon. He married Joan Mary Giffard, daughter of Edward Giffard and Rosamunde Catherine Pennell.²

     Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue was born on 4 April 1818.² He was the son of Hugh Fortescue, 2nd Earl Fortescue and Lady Susan Ryder.¹ He married Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer, daughter of Colonel Rt. Hon. George Lionel Dawson-Damer and Mary Georgiana Emma Seymour, on 11 March 1847.² He died on 10 October 1905 at age 87.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth between 1841 and 1852.² He held the office of Lord of the Treasury between 1846 and 1847.² He held the office of Secretary of the Poor Law Board between 1847 and 1851.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marylebone between 1854 and 1859.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Fortescue of Castle Hill, co.      Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer was the daughter of Colonel Rt. Hon. George Lionel Dawson-Damer and Mary Georgiana Emma Seymour.^1,2 She married Hugh Fortescue, 3rd Earl Fortescue, son of Hugh Fortescue, 2nd Earl Fortescue and Lady Susan Ryder, on 11 March 1847.¹ She died on 8 December 1866.¹
     Her married name became Fortescue. After her marriage, Georgiana Augusta Charlotte Caroline Dawson-Damer was styled as Countess Fortescue on 14 September 1861.

     Charles William Wall Martin graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He lived at Killenshamdra, County Cavan, Ireland^G.¹

     Albemarle Cator was born on 6 April 1836.² He was the son of Albemarle Cator and Elizabeth Margaret Blakeney.² He married Mary Molesworth Cordelia Mohun-Harris, daughter of Christopher Arthur Mohun-Harris, on 22 February 1859.² He died on 10 April 1906 at age 70.²
