     Robert David Alexander Wedderburn was born on 30 March 1948.¹ He is the son of Major David Michael Alexander Wedderburn and Marigold Diana Sneyd Philips.² He married Hazel Eloisa Ifor-Jones, daughter of Reverend John Ifor-Jones, in 1985.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Royal Academy of Music, London, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Royal Academy of Music, London, England, with a GRSM.¹ He lived in 2003 at 13 Rothesay Avenue, Richmond, Surrey, England.¹
