William Napier and Louisa May Lloyd.2 He married Katherine Edith Liveing, daughter of Robert Liveing and Adelaide Mary Dorothea Hawker, on 16 March 1889 at Marylebone, London, England.1 He died on 22 December 1934 at age 69.1
     He was registered as a Member, Institute of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)1

     Robert Liveing was born before 1 May 1834 at Nayland, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Edward Liveing and Catherine Mary Downing.2 He married Adelaide Mary Dorothea Hawker, daughter of Admiral Edward Hawker and Joanna Naomi Poore, on 15 August 1866 at Blendworth, Hampshire, England.2 He died in 1919 at Marylebone, London, England.2

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Scott Napier was born on 3 February 1899.1 He was the son of Archibald Scott Napier and Katherine Edith Liveing.2 He married Ida Kathleen Douétil, daughter of Victor Napoleon Douétil, on 8 August 1927.1 He died on 16 June 1946 at age 47.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was Chief of Movements and Transportation Branch 6–4 Divivision, Supreme HQ, Allied Expeditionary Force between 1943 and 1945.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was awarded the Commander, U.S. Legion of Merit.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.1
