     Charles Bruce Henry Somerset was born on 18 July 1841.¹ He was the son of Colonel Henry Charles Capel Somerset and Alice Elizabeth O'Connell.¹ He married Victoria Alice Anne FitzGibbon, daughter of William FitzGibbon, on 31 July 1862.¹ He died in April 1889 at age 47.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 3rd Buffs.¹

     Victoria Alice Anne FitzGibbon was born at Sidney House, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of William FitzGibbon.¹ She married Charles Bruce Henry Somerset, son of Colonel Henry Charles Capel Somerset and Alice Elizabeth O'Connell, on 31 July 1862.¹ She died on 20 December 1919.¹
     From 31 July 1862, her married name became Somerset.²

     William FitzGibbon lived at Sidney House, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Alice Elizabeth O'Connell was born on 26 July 1818.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh.^2,3 She married Colonel Henry Charles Capel Somerset, son of Reverend Lord William George Henry Somerset and Elizabeth Molyneux, on 10 September 1840.² She died on 29 August 1892 at age 74.¹
     From 10 September 1840, her married name became Somerset.³

     Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell was born (formerly Riverstown) on 11 September 1766 at Ballynahown, St. Finan's Bay, County Kerry, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Charles Connell FitzPhilip O'Connell and Alicia O'Connell.² He married Mary Bligh, daughter of Vice-Admiral William Bligh and Elizabeth Betham, on 8 May 1810.¹ He died on 25 May 1848 at age 81 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the French Army, under the Duke of Brunswick in the early stages of the French Revolutionary Wars.¹ He was commissioned in 1794, in the service of the British Army under the terms negotiated for the Irish Brigade by his kinsman Count Daniel Charles O'Connell.¹ He fought in the Napoleonic Wars.¹ He was commander of the 1st Battalion, 73rd Regiment.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)³ He was Acting Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales.¹ He was commanding officer of the the forces in Australia between 1838 and 1846 and he settled there permanently.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)¹

     Violet Beare Molyneux-Montgomerie was born on 16 December 1906. She was the daughter of Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie and Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset. She died on 16 December 1906.¹

     Rosemary Heartsease Beare Molyneux-Montgomerie was born on 23 June 1908. She is the daughter of Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie and Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset. She married, firstly, Norman Miller in 1937.¹ She married, secondly, Reginald Dilworth Howard in 1941.¹ She married, thirdly, Thomas James in 1953.¹
     From 1937, her married name became Miller.¹ From 1941, her married name became Howard.¹ From 1953, her married name became James.¹ She lived at Garboldisham Hall, Norfolk, England^G.

     Norman Miller married Rosemary Heartsease Beare Molyneux-Montgomerie, daughter of Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie and Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset, in 1937.¹

     Reginald Dilworth Howard married Rosemary Heartsease Beare Molyneux-Montgomerie, daughter of Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie and Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset, in 1941.¹ He died in 1949.¹

     Thomas James married Rosemary Heartsease Beare Molyneux-Montgomerie, daughter of Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie and Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset, in 1953.¹
