     From 25 June 1850, her married name became Snow.¹ She and Charles Hastings Snow emigrated along with their children to New Zealand arriving on 1860 on board Lord Burleigh.¹

     Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers was born in 1788.² He was the son of Sir Pigott William Piers, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Smythe.^1,3 He married Jane Tristram, daughter of Reverend Thomas Tristram, on 21 December 1813.² He died on 23 February 1848.²
     He was the Vicar at Preston, Dorset, England.² They also had three other sons who died without issue.²
