     Colonel Keith Ramsay Maitland was born on 20 October 1827.2 He was the son of Alexander Maitland and Susan Ramsay.2 He married Georgina Harriet Glass, daughter of Alexander Grant Glass, on 27 July 1861.2 He died on 30 October 1893 at age 66.2
     He fought in the Crimean War.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 79th Foot.2
