     Harriet Garstin was the daughter of Reverend Christopher J. Garstin.² She married Edmond Ross Macnaghten, son of Francis Macnaghten and Ellen Charlotte Conolly, on 20 September 1876.¹ She died on 21 February 1923.¹
     From 20 September 1876, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Ellen Maria Macnaghten was born in 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Edmond Ross Macnaghten and Harriet Garstin.² She died on 26 February 1969, unmarried.¹

     Norah Elizabeth Macnaghten was the daughter of Edmond Ross Macnaghten and Harriet Garstin.² She married Thomas Joseph Collins, son of Patrick Collins, on 15 November 1911.¹ She died in 1943.¹
     From 15 November 1911, her married name became Collins.

     Patrick Collins lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     Thomas Joseph Collins was the son of Patrick Collins.² He married Norah Elizabeth Macnaghten, daughter of Edmond Ross Macnaghten and Harriet Garstin, on 15 November 1911.¹ He died on 3 May 1937.¹

     Alfred Hill Macnaghten was born on 12 November 1848.¹ He was the son of Francis Macnaghten and Ellen Charlotte Conolly.² He married Arabella Maria Betts, daughter of William Betts and Julia Wildman Sparling, on 27 November 1873.¹ He died on 13 November 1915 at age 67.¹

     Ines Walter was the daughter of John Walter.¹ She married Sir Bernard Alexander Brocas Burrows, son of Edward Henry Burrows and Ione Macdonald, in 1944.¹ She died in 1997.²
     From 1944, her married name became Burrows.¹

     Robert Mackintosh of Benchar married Jean Macpherson, daughter of Donald Macpherson of Nuid.¹

     Lt.-Col. Balfour Macnaghten was born on 23 December 1875.¹ He was the son of Alfred Hill Macnaghten and Arabella Maria Betts.² He married Hilda Lardner, daughter of William George Lardner, on 8 February 1902.¹ He died on 23 July 1945 at age 69.¹
     He fought in the Boer War in 1902.¹ He fought in the West African Campaign between 1905 and 1907.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 12th Royal Lancers.¹
