Edmund Lechmere was born on 4 April 1710.1 He was the son of Anthony Lechmere and Anne Foley.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Charlton, daughter of Sir Blunden Charlton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Foley, on 12 October 1732.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Whitmore, daughter of Reverend John Whitmore, on 4 June 1765.1 He died in April 1805.1
